*1. Margaret, christened 15 February 1608 in Bodicote;
married William Slaymaker 1 May 1630 in Over Worton, Oxfordshire;
buried 17 October 1665 in Tadmarton, Oxfordshire.
Baptism record for Margaret Pitham in Bodicote: "The same daye
was baptized Margarett the daughter of Edward Pitham and Alice his
wife"
2. John, christened 1 January 1610 in Bodicote; married
Jane; died 1670, leaving a will mentioning wife Jane, sons Edward,
John, Robert, daughters Sushance, Mary, Alice, and brother Mathew: "August
the 12 1670 In the name of God amen: I john Pittam of Bodicoate
the Elder in the parrish of Adderbury in the Countye of Oxon
husbandman being weake of body but of perfict mind and memory
thankes be to God doe make this my last will and testament in
manner and form following first I bequeath my soule to Almighty
God hooping through the merrits of Jesus Christ to receive pardon
and remishtion for all my sinne my body I commit to the earth and
my goods I give as followeth My will is my now wife Jane Pittam
shall have and inioy peaceblely and quietly all my house and back
side and four lands during her widowhood and noe longer. I give
and bequeath to my son John Pittam my house and backside with fore
of arable lands to him and his heires for ever upon condition that
he the saied John Pittam shall pay to his brother and sisters
theise sumes. I give unto my son Edward Pittam the sum of feefteen
pounds to bee payed to him by his brother John Pittam within one
yeare after the sayed John Pittam shall bee posesed of the house
and fore lands. I give unto my son Robert Pittam ten pounds to bee
payed two yeares after the saied John Pittam shall bee posest of
the house and land. I give unto my daughter Sushance Pittam ten
pounds to bee payed to her within three yeares after the sayed
John Pittam shall bee posesed of the house and land. I give unto
my daughter Mary Pittam ten pounds to bee payed to her foure years
after my son John Pittam shall bee posest of the house and land. I
give unto my daughter Alse ten pounds to bee payed to her within
five yeares after my son John Pittam shall bee posest of the house
and land. My will is that if my son John Pittam
shall refuse to pay these several sumes of money given as legasies
to his brothers and sisters then his brother Edward Pittam shall
have the house and the foure lands and pay the several sumes
charged upon the house and land. My will is that is Edward refuse
my son Robert shall have the house and land paying these legasies
charged upon the house and land. My will is that if weather of
these brothers doe thinke it convenient to make use of the house
and land then my will is my overseers shall have power to sell the
house and land and pay the several sumes of money to the children
which are charged upon the house and land. My will is that is my
now wife Jane Pittam shall alter her condition and marry then shee
shall presently remove from the house and land and leave it to my
son John Pittam only shee is to carry away the bedsted which the
children ly in with beding to it one litle brasse pos one barrill
and a chaire. I make my wife Jane Pittam my executrix of this my
last will and testament of all my goods and chattel and cattell
shee paying all my depts and discharging my funeral expences and I
make John White and my brother Mathew Pittam my overseers of this
my last will and testament and hereunto I have set my hand the day
and yeare above ritten."

Burroughs 5 June 1642 in Over Worton.
4. Mathew, christened 26 October 1617 in Bodicote.
5. Francis, (female) buried 12 July 1620 in Great Tew.
6. Doraty, christened 6 January 1621 in Great Tew; buried 29
January 1621 in Great Tew.
